A new attitude :)

I haven't posted for a couple days for a couple different reasons, one of which is I needed some time off for an attitude adjustment :) I went back and read my last post once I published it and realized that I was looking at the day all wrong. I was upset that "my" plans had to change instead of rejoicing in having A home for one more day! Once I got over myself, I loaded the kids into the van and went off for an "adventure". We went to the mall to play, but it was way to hot, then A locked in on the Balloons outside of the Build a Bear store and went running over. Thankfully I had grabbed my coupon folder because it was the "release party" for the HSM bear, and A just went nuts!!!! She sang with the employees all the songs and was pretty good at the trivia. The real surprise was when I informed her we had a coupon for a free t-shirt, and she responded "but a t-shirt is $6.50 and the golf clubs for Troy (her bear) are only $6, so its cheaper, isn't that better?" I was stunned, and the employee who over heard was as well, and agreed that we could use the coupon for the golf clubs (if you are confused as to why she wanted them, you obviously have not seen HSM2!!)
We went to Chick-fil-A for lunch and met up with BFF L (which was nice for me). The kids played great, our afternoon was restful, and we went to Peter Piper Pizza with some of A's dance friends and their families for Dinner and playing. At the end of the day, I realized I got nothing from my list done, but had a very great day with my kids!!!!
