I did get the 5 dance bags done, but was a little late on delivery (oh well) - at least everyone understands that they are individually made! It was nice when the three for the studio raffle were considered "Hot Ticket Items" and people were crossing their fingers for them!
On a sad note, one of the reasons I was late getting them done was my eldest Aunt, Shirley, passed away. I made a whirlwind trip (23 hours total) to NM for the funeral. I agree with my cousins that we need to just plan a "family event" so funerals quit being the only time we see everyone! This photo was taken when she came and visited on Christmas Day 2005Anna is rockin' in school and loving every minte of it. I am amazed at how well she is doing in math and love that I get to be more involved with her class this year. She is even asking about keeping up with her reading while on break - and that just seems cool to me :)
She has also joined a "Daisy Scouts" Troop which I am now Coleader of and we are enjoying this as our "special thing" to share.
Anna started fall break last week so once again we found ourselves at "The Mouse House" (aka Disneyland) We went with her BFF's family and had a great time. Paul is now old enough to have "favorite rides" and attractions. We had such a great time we opted to upgrade to "annual passes" so we can take advantage of Paul being free and get in some more fun time as a family.
To top it all off, I have a confession.... the other reason I got behind on blogging and sewing is I got obsessive with a new book series "Twilight" There are 4 books as well as another book by the same author called "Host" that were just amazingly good!!! The movie of the 1st book comes out next month and I have already made a deal with R that I will take Anna to HSM3 if I get to go see Twilight with my GFs opening weekend :)
So that is whats been up... I have 6 bags down stairs waiting for me!!!
