Proud "Dance Mom" momment

So I have to take a minute and act like the crazy "dance mom" that I am - tonight the whole team (approx 60 girls) practiced their "half time show" for the first time start to finish. I showed up for the very end of practice to see that A is in a different formation than the rest of her class and that during the final dance sequence she is front and center - literally on the 50 yard line! After practice, the teacher walks by her and tells her to "keep up the practice with the splits and being stiff like a board" A just beams and exclaims "I get to be the girl who is picked up!!!" She said that the original girl (who is on the comp team) didn't work out so she is up, literally!!!! During the final part of the show, she is being lifted by 4 girls in the splits, then her back leg is carried forward and she is lifted above their heads in a "T". It was amazing to see how much pride she radiated in this new role.... I am such a proud mama!!! :) They have 3 HS Basketball half time shows coming up in the next month, so watch for some videos and pictures!!!
