(typed Monday 7/30 - I have no idea why it didn't post then!)
We spent most of Sat in meetings (the kids were very good) and Sunday we made the mistake of trying to get one more park visit in before out flight so we felt pretty rushed. Even though we had a series of delays on the plane, we were all very happy to be in back in Phoenix..... and then we saw our bag!
At first I wasn't really upset or worries since it was a cheap bag from Target and had our swimsiuts in it - then I remembered that in an attempt to make our large bag weigh less, we had moved Richard's brand new running shoes and toiletry bag into it!
SWA was very embarassed that no one had pulled the distroyed bag to meet with us personally. They gave me a replacement bag (which is a lot nicer than the one distroyed) and wrote us a check on the spot to cover the shoes, orthotics, and the misc stuff. I know people complain about SWA all the time, but I honestly find thier service to be great. Now its time to focus on getting the kids back on AZ time and get Anna ready to start school next week. I think I need a vacation from my vacation!

I have found it to generally be a good idea to plan a few days at home to get back "on track" after a vacation before going back to regular life. Vacations are suppose to be relaxing but are often exhausting!
