At some point, I would really like for life to slow down just a tad!!!! Than again, I would just find something new to fill the tie up :)
After another trip to the Urgent care (#5 since 1/1) for one of the kids I think we may be on the mend! Everyone was well enough for Anna and I to attend a baby shower on Saturday. I couldn't decide between making a taggie or a wall hanging since this is a "random family member", so B suggested I combine them! (Once it will let me post pics I will show you - its acting wierd right now!)
Everyone there thought the "Quilted taggie" was really sweet. I now have another shower this Saturday, so I am going to do the same thing! Also, Anna got to wear her Valentine Dress that we worked on durning our last "Mom's Day without Kids"
The only issue with going to these type of family events is that I usually get sucked into another project :) I had been thinking about making a lap quilt for my "Aunt" (she's really my dad's cousin but you know how it is, any extended realative is an "Aunt") Anyway, she was very helpful while we were dealing with Richard's dad and the hospice, and is a very amazing woman, so I was going to make her a wall hanging with Butterflies as a thank you, but then she mentions that no one has ever made her a quilt and she thinks that homemade ones are just fabulous, and on and on.... so guess what I feel like I should do? :) Time to go through my patterns and see if I have anything "quick and easy" in a lap size!
Keep you fingers crossed that we have a "healthy week"

I recently came across two patterns online that look fun, fast, and easy. They are both online tutorials. Take a peek, maybe you'd like to make one of them (from the scrap bin?)
The Future's So Bright Quilt by AmandaJean of Crazy Mom Quilts. Here are the specific instructions for making it.
The second one is SUPER SCRAPPY and FAST... Scrap Strip Squares by HappyThings
