So Richard was asked ot be one of the referees for the Mexico National Team Tournement this weekend - they played against UCLA on Fri and ASU tonight. Since this is probably his last year at this level, the chances of seeing him again on an international game is pretty small, so I decided to try and see if I could make it work and go to the game.... well it just so happens that another ref friend of ours has a 16 yr old daughter so I recruited her to help me manage the kids. Anna really liked her and she doesn't live that far from us, so Yeah, Babysitter!!!!
I do have to admit, it was a little ackward for me to be rooting for the Sun Devils and I thought I would die when Anna asked to have her picture taken with "Sparky", but I guess it goes with being a parent. We only stayed for the first half so the kids would be rested for our Zoo trip tomorrow, but it was a good time while we were there :)
