Today was the 2nd Annual Mackey Easter Egg Hunt / Potluck, and once again, I was stressed out for nothing! :) With over 30 people in attendance (mostly kids under the age of 7!) it was total chaos and fun. I think the favorite part was the confetti eggs! The kids had a blast opening them on each other and the parents. I have to give some "shout outs" to those who really stepped up to help me out though because I know I would have lost my mind without them:
- my BFFs L and B for running out to get more eggs when it was obvious we were running short!
- to L and little B for sticking around and cleaning up, which made my job so much easier
- to P for taking the monkey to party #2 so I could put the little dude down for a nap and get the house back together
- the biggest thanks to my hubby for mopping the whole house - 2x!!!! Once last night, and again after the party!
I think it is time for sleep so the Easter Bunny can come :) Happy Easter Everyone!!!
