Mackey Olympics

I know it has been a while since I last posted and given all the excitement over the Olympic Torch relay going on, in my own weird style, I present the "Mackey Olympics" I have participated in over the last week:

1st event - Ear Drop wrestling - Putting 3 drops in each ear of a toddler who is doing the "alligator death roll"! While it can be done as a pairs event as well, it does not decrease the difficultly level!

2nd event - 10pm binding - while not a difficult event, it is annoying to determine that you have to redo the binding on a wall hanging that is a baby shower gift that you are giving in less than 12 hours. I do think I at least earned a silver because I did have it done before I went to bed!

3rd event - silky and minky sewing - for the same gift as event 2, I made what turned out to be a really cool looking "Quilted Quuddle" (the name I came up with for marketing them), this is not for the easily frustrated and rushed, so I have no idea why I participatedin this event!

4th event - Clippy creating - This is my favorite event for the season, because it is quick, I can be creative and there isn't much to clean up. I am moving to a higher difficulty level now as I am going to attempt to use the "wood cutting tool" for cleaner lines!

5th event - Leg shaving with addition of toddler - I think we can all picture what makes this event the hardest one of my week!
So as you can see, its been a fun filled week - next week we are competing in "post-school performance prep" and "toddler raising without binky!"
