With only 4 "regular" days, I thought this week would go fast - but that would not be the case!
Paul has mastered the "Leg Leech" position, which definitely slows down all activities. I also tried to cram 5 days of errands and activities into 4 days, with rather poor results :(
On the positive side, having a walking buddy has been a great! We go 3 days a week to the mall to walk for an hour. It gets me up and out of the house and the "adult time" is so nice! I'm proud of myself because even though she was out of town today, I used my DVDs to work out so I kept on track.
I also got to hang out down stairs a bit.... Anna helped me sew the hems on the "bandannas" for another dress for her and one for her cousin. Anna calls the black and pink one her "Jack Sparrow Dress" since it has the skull and cross-bones!
I then got inspired by a boarder fabric I found at Jo Ann's and made them matching skirts.... I need to be October soon so the kids have a reason to wear these cute outfits! I have also found a fun Christmas boarder print I am going to make all 5 cousins matching outfits out of, and a more classic boarder print I "might" try a more traditional Christmas dress out of (I haven't gotten the nerve up to even open the pattern!) I'm hoping to sneak down there tonight as well to get my Aunt's quilt basted - wish me luck!
well, back to the leg leech :)
