I cannot believe how time has flown by this year... it seems like just yesterday I was posting about my little girl going off to Kindergarten and here it is today, her "Kindergarten Celebration"!! My dad has flown in to help share in this great day (that and we haven't seen him since October). What amazes me the most is how much she has learned this year, and I'm not just talking about the math and reading.... but all the "other stuff" you get from your peers :) I reminds me of the posters that were big in the 90's about "All I need to know I learned in Kindergarten" It is so true! It also is surprising to see how much she has grown! Here is a pic from her first day, and one from about a week ago at a "girly girlz hair" Birthday party :)

Let's see a picture of her today... in the same clothes as her first day, or at least a school outfit. Side-by-side. Same room, same clothes, it'll be fun! :D
I had thought of snapping another one in uniform, however, today they all got to wear thier class T-shirts and tomorrow is water play day (its a half day and the last day) so I hate going back on my word to her that she was done with the uniforms.
Also, as I said in my post, she has "grown up" a lot this year - so the pony tails and knee socks are a thing of the past!
I think I will however just take a picture on the first day of school every year and use that to watch her grow
